MTSCONSULT · OCCUPATIONAL ASSESSMENT

Understand people. Recognise potential. Make informed decisions.

Professional qualifications and experience matter. Yet a CV alone reveals little about how someone leads, makes decisions or what motivates them in the long term.

Professional occupational assessment complements interviews with structured information about personality, motives and values. It helps build a better understanding of potential and possible areas of tension, making people decisions more transparent and less dependent on subjective impressions.

ONE PERSON · MULTIPLE PERSPECTIVES

What lies beyond the CV?

Suitability for a role has many facets. Explore five areas that can help inform an assessment of a person.

SELECT AN AREA

What would you like to understand better?

Select one of the five areas to explore additional questions that may be relevant to a people decision.

MORE INSIGHT · LESS RELIANCE ON INTUITION

What can additional assessment contribute?

Standardised assessments can provide additional information and support more consistent judgements. They complement personal impressions with clear criteria rather than replacing them.

Information sources

This is a schematic illustration, not a measure of selection quality. Personality and motives can also be explored through structured interviews without additional tests. The value of assessment methods depends on their suitability and professional use.

The benefit: Greater transparency, better comparability and less reliance on purely subjective impressions. This does not, however, make a people decision entirely objective.

MY CONSULTING APPROACH

Assessment tailored to your requirements

Different roles call for different personal qualities. I therefore select assessment methods to address the specific question – for example, personality, professional motives and career values, or responses to change.

01

Understand requirements

Which personal qualities are relevant to the specific role?

02

Select suitable methods

Which appropriate assessment methods can provide additional information?

03

Interpret the findings

How do the findings relate to the person, the role and the organisational environment?

When selecting assessment methods, I look for a sound scientific basis, appropriate standards of measurement quality and relevance to the role requirements. The results complement professional judgement; they do not replace it.
